After a first duet created in the summer of 2020 with dancer Sara Harton and pianist Anne-Marie Bernard, Danse K par K has developed a full program of 15-minute duets in co-production with Les Violons du Roy: Les Miniatures. For each duet, the same rules apply: a choreographer-dancer and musician work together for 30 hours to create, collaborate and exchange. The pair takes on the challenge of being creators—sometimes for the first time—as well as performers. Under the artistic direction of Karine Ledoyen, the resulting artistic exchanges are filled with joyous surprises as the live music inspires the dance.
