Description

Le Diamant’s “Swing Swing Swing” is the chance to finally deck yourself out in your finest suits, dresses and dance shoes. Join us for this exciting evening of dancing that will take you back in time 100 years.

Eight musicians will provide the music as you’re invited to discover swing dance (Lindy Hop, Charleston, Boogie, Balboa) in Le Diamant’s impressive Hydro-Québec Auditorium, which will be transformed into a 1930s ballroom for the occasion. Beginner swing dance classes, special presentations by professional dancers, and circus numbers will amaze your eyes, charm your ears and wake up your legs. It will be an unforgettable evening, full of surprises and encounters.

Schedule

  • Doors open at 6:45 pm ;
  • Introductory swing class at 7-8 pm ;
  • Official start of the dance party at 8 pm ;
  • Guest DJ and surprise acts: 8pm to 8:55 pm ;
  • First band: 8.55 pm to 9.40 pm ;
  • Guest DJ and surprise acts part two: 9:40 pm to 10:15 pm ;
  • Second band: 10:15 pm to 11:15 pm ;
  • DJ and Les P’tites Polisses: 11:15pm to 11:45pm ;
  • DJ atmosphere: 11.45pm to 1 am.

Dress code

  • Dress code required and 30s-40s attire strongly encouraged !
