Aubes
Duration : 25 min.
At dawn, the light is revealed little by little, abstract shapes and silhouettes stand out, color gradually comes back to life, meaning emerges from the night.
Aubes presents an original and striking experience, playing with the effects of retinal persistence and the critical threshold of perception. This is one of Alexis Langevin-Tétrault and Guillaume Côté’s most unique audiovisual creations, both dazzling and accessible. It is an open door to their imagination, from which emerges a certain exalted euphoria.
This project is supported by Canada Council for the Arts and Quebec Council for the Arts, artist-run centers Avatar and Daïmôn in Canada, and Elektron Musik Studion (EMS) in Sweden.

Thirst
Duration : 53 min.
A concert featuring pulsating live electronic music, Thirst transcends the boundaries of traditional audiovisual performance by utilizing multi-projections of images. Drawing inspiration from the lexicon of road movies, Americanized iconography, and hyper-colored, image-saturated aesthetics, it offers a sensory journey that prompts reflections on past symbols of transgression, picaresque adventures, and romanticism. These symbols are now challenged by contemporary societal, digital, and environmental developments.
